format, also called Portable Document Format (PDF), preserves
the original appearance of a document without requiring you to
possess the software that created that document. You can get a
free
Acrobat viewer (needed to view Acrobat files posted on this
site) from Adobe's website. Installation instructions come with
the software.
PDF
files can be large and retrieving them may take several
minutes. The speed depends primarily on the speed of your
direct or remote network connection, and the speed and
memory of your own computer. Close any open PDF documents
before opening a new one to avoid memory limitations.
