Shigellosis

Lice

Cryptosporidiosis
Also called crypto, the condition is a result of cryptosporidium. It leads to severe cramping and diarrhea. To evade the situation, never swim with open wounds and always keep your ears and air dry. After swimming, you need to take a long shower to remove excess chlorine from your body.
E. Coli
- Coli bacteria is common contaminated food though it can be in the water. It lives in the intestines causing diarrhea, kidney failure, and deaths if not treated. Avoid these bacteria by not swimming in a pool that any animal has been swimming or any pool that has fecal matter.
There are many diseases associated with poorly maintained swimming pools. Always swim in pools that adhere to high standard health requirements. In case of any discomfort after swimming, get a doctor’s intervention to depict the cause. Early treatment is essential.
